Do I have to be a member to attend events?

Unless otherwise noted as a "member-only" event, our events are typically opent to the public. Some events are 21+ due to the bar where we host them.

Occasionally, we do private/ticketed events, which typically get discounted or free admission to our members.

What does it mean to be sponsored by a board member?

We want to encourage potential members to attend our events and have a conversation with one or more board members. If you've introduced yourself and talked to a board member at one of our events, put their name down as the sponsor.=

Active Membership

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Must be sponsored by a Board Member

• Pay $40 annual dues

• Meet minimum meeting attendance requirements and volunteering requirements in the bylaws.

Active Members receive a full patch and pin, and free and discounted events throughout the year.

Active Members in good standing have full voting rights and may run for or serve on the Board of Directors.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is perfect for our members who are 18+, but not yet 21+. It's also good for members who may not be able to make every meeting or meet the minimum volunteer requirements for the bylaws.

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must be sponsored by a Board Member

• Pay $40 one-time fee

• May attend any meetings and events we offer

Associate Members receive a small version of the patch and pin, and some discounted access to events.

Associate Members do not have voting rights and may not run for or serve on the Board of Directors.

To Become a Member

Step 1: Speak to a board member at a Pet Night to learn more about the club and see if you're a good fit for membership.

Step 3: Receive your patch/pin from any board member at the next Pet Night!
