Welcome to the official website of the Southern Virginia Pets and Handlers (SVA-PAH). Here you will find information about our organization including events, membership, and the work we do in the community. If you have any questions, please reach out to a member of the board or email us at svapah2019@gmail.com.
SVA-PAH is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity for those with interest in fetish/kink of pup play/pet play within the primarily LGBTQIA+ community. It is for pups, pets, handlers, and supporters.
While many of us are also animal lovers, real animals are not involved in our organization - it's a roleplay thing.
As a non-profit, we work with a number of local charities. We also put on a number of social events for the community as well.
Membership is available for those in the community wishing to support and get involved for our events.
Pup Play/Puppy Play/Pet Play is an animalistic roleplay where participants take on the mannerisms, characteristics, behavior, and/or attire/gear resembling pups or other animals.
Pup/Pet Play originated from a leather subculture, and some pups enjoy leather. But neoprene, latex, and other similar gear is common.
In the pup/pet play community, there are also Handlers, which represent the human counterpart to the pet. In some cases, they may act as a trainer, owner, or someone who provides safety and guidance to the pets.
